A Hack: Surround Yourself with Papers

Papers are forever
They are all I need to please me
They can stimulate and tease me
They won't leave in the night
I've no fear that they might desert me

I have found a way to boost my lack of productivity, which is so much more interesting than the productivity so many people seem to be obsessed with nowadays.

There are many to-do, lists, reminders and notes apps out there which claim to be ready to boost your productivity. Many notebooks with tabs, coloured codes, clever labeling and sorting options, all to make you more efficient and control —optimise!!!— the flow of your ideas and brain sparks.

But I haven't found one of those to be worth the effort: I quickly get tired of having to use a «method», but also: I can count with no fingers how many f**ks I give about efficiency.

On the dead moments in between work where you can't do something because the computer is working and makes you wait, or when you are expecting feedback from a client, or when you just don't feel like doing anything at all and need to grasp some fresh air. On those it's when I do my best non-work.
